Parametrix Engineering Ltd (“Parametrix”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through parametrix.co.nz, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. What information we collect

When you submit a quote request through our contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about your project. We don’t require an account to use this site, and we don’t collect any payment information through it.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote for our draughting services. We don’t use it for marketing, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is sent to our business email address and a copy is kept in our website’s database as a backup, in case an email fails to arrive. We also use two outside services to help run this website:

• Cloudflare Turnstile: Checks that quote form submissions are from real people, not bots. It may process technical details like your IP address as part of that check.
• Google Analytics: Helps us understand how visitors use the site (which pages are viewed, general location, device type). It uses cookies and may collect your IP address.

We don’t share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.

Cookies

This site uses cookies associated with Google Analytics and Cloudflare. You can block or delete these at any time through your browser’s settings.

How long we keep your information

We keep quote request details for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. If an enquiry results in a project, we retain related business and project records in accordance with New Zealand legal and tax requirements (typically 7 years), and we delete general enquiries on request.

Security

We use a secure (HTTPS) connection and spam-protected forms to help keep your information safe. That said, no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. To make a request, email info@parametrix.co.nz.
